Lesson: Farm Animals Activity: Performed a skit “Three Little Pigs” Craft: Pig Puppets

They performed a short skit: “The Three Little Pigs.” They learned to say, “Little Pig, let me in.”(wolf) “Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin.”(pigs) They made pig puppets so they can retell the story in English at home.

Lesson: Rooms in our home & Toys Activity: Guess the missing toy Speaking:  What belongs in the bathroom? What`s your favorite toy? Songs: 5 little Ducks

The students did a great job sharing about themselves in English! They shared what their favorite toy was and they loved singing the new songs; “5 Little Ducks” and “Old Macdonald.”

-Older Elementary Class- 3/13

Lesson:  Occupations Activity: Giving directions to your friend. Guess my occupation. Speaking: Write a letter to a pen pal in English and share it with the class.

We started the class by talking about what we did before class by using past tense verbs. The students are learning to use verbs with -s and -es, and they are doing a great job applying it during conversation time.
